Dashboard

After a successful login, the first thing you will see is the start screen of your Dashboard. On this screen, to which you get automatically after you have successfully logged in, you see an overview of your current today's and tomorrow's appointments at a glance.

The miniature graphics which you see here, displayed below your schedule, appear from the chart & report manager plugin here, if this has been configured in the plugin. Depending on whether you have the light or full version of the plugin in use, almost unlimited statistically analysis options are available.

Different tab pages can be displayed as your default setting. There are tabs available for the WICE Views, personal tasks, tickets, hold-files and project tasks.

The column for the internal news is located on the right side of the dashboard. The news are generated via an integrated news editor. So, corporate communications for all users may be posted here. Optionally the plugin WICE-RSS reader is available, if you directly want to display RSS feeds of external providers in the news column.

Find out more in the Profile module in the menu bar how you can adapt these settings in the Dashboard yourself according to your wishes. So, you can set which information from the individual modules is displayed.

Menu bar

The WICE Cloud Based CRM menu bar is located in the left pane of the browser window. Via this menu you usually enter the individual modules of your WICE installation. Your WICE administrator has previously set the rights which modules and plugins are available for you - if in doubt please inquire directly to him or an employee with access to the WICE administration.

Enter each of the modules directly by clicking on the module name. The function "New Window" underneath the menu list opens a new window in WICE where you can work as well as in the original window e.g. while working in the module "Addresses" in the first window you can work with any other or the same module in the other window(s), making the work easier, comfortable and more effective. Up from WICE Release x5 or higher you can also click on any module with the right mouse button to open the selected module in a new browser tab or window.

By clicking on the envelope "Email" your default mail acount appears directly in a new window of your browser, so that you can directly access your emails from the WICE CommCenter. You will also see the number of E-mails in the Inbox of the account.

If you on click on the "Messages" underneath the Email button, you get to the overview of the messages you received in the CommCenter.

When using the Fax.de plugin, a symbol to the directly access your fax Inbox in the Fax.de plug-in is displayed here as well. When you click on it you reach the overview of all the faxes received.

To finish up your work in WICE, click "Logout" and you will be logged out.

Below these symbols your current login name and the name of your mandant is displayed.

Appointment overview

In this window, you will see a preview of your next 5 appointment in the coming days or weeks. The day of the week, as well as the title of the appointment is shown here with the actual times of the appointments. By clicking on the title of the appointment, you will automatically reach the module "Appointments", with the detail view of the respective day to learn more about the details of the appointment.

To add new appointments you have to chance to the appointment module or if you want to associate the appoinment with an address, you will have to search the desired address and go to the appointment tab tp create the appointment or add a new ticket note using the appointment option.

Tipp:

You can open almost all linked entries, like for example the individual dates or your tasks in the to do lists when using a Desktop/Laptop computer with a click of the right mouse button, in WICE Cloud Based CRM depending on the browser, in a new tab or in a new browser window. So the view of the previous window is preserved for you and you can easily work with multiple Windows/tabs in the individual modules.

WICE-Views

In the WICE-Views tab you will see your previously created WICE-Views. These are special bookmarks with which you can access with one click your frequently used information provided by WICE. You can create WICE-Views in the addresses, ticket or project module.

You define a WICE-View over the little window icon at the top right of each mask. We want to demonstrate exemplary this based on an address: addresses, click the main menu item, and then click an address. In the upper right corner next to the button you see go the WICEView icon.

Now it opens the input mask for the WICE-View:

Enter a name for your WICE-View, and then click input store. A message informs you that your WICE-View has been saved.

On the home page, your new WICE-View is now in the tab WICE-View. Each click on a WICE-View is counted and the top 5 WICE-Views be displayed always in addition to your schedule on the home page.

Editing and deleting WICE-Views

To edit an existing WICE-View click in the WICE-Views tab on the Edit button and you can not chance the crieria for your selection here, but only the name of the respective view. To permanently delete a WICE-View, click on the delete button in front of the respective view. There is still a security question if you really want to delete this. If you approve this, the WICE-View is finally removed from the list.

If you now click on a WICE-View a new window opens and displays the respective information. You can continue as normal from here with WICE.

Personal tasks

In the personal tasks tab, you have to define the opportunity for important tasks and manage.

At a glance, you see your tasks, as well as their priority. You can edit these tasks, or you can delete it with the Eraser tool, if you no longer need the task.

You can sort your personal tasks by title, date and priority, in the, click the corresponding column heading.

Your personal tasks are to understand, WICE as such that is called no other user can read or edit. They appear only in the home area of the registered user and there is no link to other modules or functions

Creating a new personal task

To define a new task, click New Aufgabe.Es a dialog box opens. Enter any text to the description of the tasks to be completed. Priority, set the importance (of 1... 10) to this task. In addition you can select a date-standardmäßig, the current date is selected. On input, then click Save. The new task is now added to the list of Ihrerer personal tasks.


Tickets

Switch operations on the tab in the module "Home" now. You can see the tasks for which you as responsible were associated with short description, status and priority.

Please note that new operations in the module "Addresses" tab operations or in the "Tasks" module can be created.

You want to know more about which operations are displayed or edit them, right click on the required operation in the operation column. Get the action overview of the selected operation in the "Tasks" module directly.

Hold-files

In the hold-files tab you see a list of your pending hold-files that are assigned to you.

See specifying the priority, the text of the follow-up as well as of the date when the task should be done. In the command field, enter "WV show the next...Days the number of days to display", receive the reminder to the time period you specify. Project tasks

In the project tasks tab the projects with the corresponding tasks are displayed, in which you are involved.

You see the name, the task, as well as begin and end the task, as well as its priority and status at a glance. You create new projects and new project tasks only in the "Projects" module.

Want details about the project, click in the project column, click the desired project. Go immediately to the task overview of the project, in the module "Projects" where you can edit project tasks or create new project tasks.

If you want to leave a feedback on a project task immediately, click at the column item on the desired task and go directly to the overview of the feedback on this task in the project module.

In addition, you can define a status for each task. The statuses are displayed with flag icons in the item overview to the individual tasks. What flag symbol for which status is your WICE administrator has previously positioned.

News

A column for important internal messages is located on the right side of the module "Home".

These messages are available for each employee. So corporate messages intended for all employees, can be published. If necessary, the administrator can set here also a vote to make it match the user about current topics.

To see a brief description, along with a price. If you want to learn more detailed information about a message, click on "more >".

You will now see the additional information. On the right side, you have the opportunity to select all existing messages and viewing. In this view appears on the button news archive.

In the creation of new messages, you have the possibility to display pictures and embed HTML links. See this "message rebuild following chapter".

Creating news

To create a new message, click on "New". You will now receive an editing window for new news articles.

• You enter a heading "Title" in this entry box < br > • To "Short" In the input field "Short" so as they should appear in the home area, enter a short description.< br > • "Hold", you enter here the full text to the newly created message. This text is visible if you at home after the brief description of a message on "more >" click. In this window, you can use the WYSIWIG editor, that means you can, like in a simple word processor, edit the text of the news, to adapt to such as the font size and color or insert bulleted lists etc. and can see as well as portrayed the final news in WICE.< br > • "Image", click Browse. Go to the Explorer view of your computer. There, choose a desired image in any format. The image is then within the long text of a message to display.< br > • "Options" select the check box here if you want that to send an email notification to send new news to all users (except disabled user!) with a valid email address.

Editing news

To edit a message, click Edit. You will receive the same editing window like in the new system. Now make your changes in the already written text and finally again click Settings save.


Deleting news

This please keep in mind that you can not undo a deletion!

After you click on Delete you receive a security warning. Now to finally confirm the deletion press the OK button. The news will be deleted.
